Trip Report Just returned from a Grand vacation!

I will have pictures later of our stay at the Grand Floridian. We were upgraded to a Magic Kingdom/Theme Park View! But, just to start, it was so very hot and humid! The first day we went to the Magic Kingdom ( Wednesday) it wasn't too bad, but the next day we began at 7:30 am and saw the Welcome Show, but were finished by noon. It was quite crowded that day too!

The picture above was zoomed in. I have to say that this was one of the best parts of our vacation. We were in our room relaxing getting ready to eat at 'Ohana. We were on the 1st floor, and the "balcony" was a nice place to take in all of the subtle things about a Disney vacation.

We arrived on Tuesday, and they had just had a huge birthday celebration for him! Apparently he only eats a diet of unsalted peanuts, yogurt, and one other thing I can't remember now. The CM at the Merchantile in the GF told me that ( he was in his 70's). But, he did eat a piece of his cake.

What a great trip, and what wonderful memories for your family. I can see from the pictures, you aren't kidding when you say it was hot! But the best, is the "little kid sparkle" in your mom's eyes.

Don't you just love the smell of the GF lobby? They should bottle it for sale. Hopefully you saw the doll lady in the lobby during your visit. I don't think she's there every day, but her back story brings tears to your eyes.

We stayed at GF for a week earlier this month and she was there. Every. Single. Day.
