Just got a new job, need to change availability + previous vacation plans?

    Hi there! I just recently got hired by Disneyland as a waitress, and I just finished my onboarding process/paperwork a couple days ago.
    However, I need to change my availability because I just decided to start a summer class for college,
    and I also have plans late August to go to hawaii with my family. I'm nervous that this is really looked down upon but I'm hoping it's okay.

    Any thoughts on this? Who exactly should I talk to to change my availability? Should I call someone or wait until the welcome classes begin?

    Do not wait for welcome classes! Tell them immediately.

    An employer wants to know that you are dependable. As an employer, I would not be happy with such a last minute change.
