June 2017 BWI or VWL

We are currently booked in a Deluxe Studio at VWL. I keep checking rates, and I think we could actually save $100 to stay at BWI in a standard room. We will spend a day at Epcot and a day at Hollywood, then 3 days at MK. I know transportation plays a key role. I also know VWL is undergoing major construction. What's your take? I've always wanted to do both resorts. I'll be traveling with my husband, 4 year old daughter, and 14 month old son.

Though WL is my favorite resort, with the construction going on, I would choose Boardwalk. Stayed there twice and loved it. Plus, in my opinion, a standard room always beats a studio. I'd much rather have 2 beds than 1 bed and a sofa bed.

ETA: Just saw you'll be spending 3 days at Magic Kingdom. In that case, you're better off at WL. Has the short boat ride. Busses from Boardwalk share with the other Epcot resorts and as such are slow and overcrowded.
