I'm glad they made some improvements...now I just need to have my fingers crossed for a good jingle jungle guide when we visit next month! :D

They actually put some effort in this year, and we found it very entertaining. Except for our skipper, an elderly woman who shall remain nameless.

Suffice to say that she never finished a joke ("We're now entering a Cambodian shrine." *Silence*) and spoke like Roz, but without all that glittering personality. Her spiel transcended its horribleness to become riotously funny, if only because we felt like we had stepped into a Christopher Guest Twilight Zone.

I can't even imagine how this idea got pitched and then approved.

Idea Guy: "Hey I got an idea. Let's take the Jungle Cruise and give it a Christmas theme."

Board: "But the Jungle Cruise relies on dramatic theme and action. How could we blend that with a Christmas theme?"

Idea Guy: "Um, tinsel and red and green stuff. Oh, and a tiger could barf up wrapping paper. A gorilla could be mad that it got candy canes, cuz after all, who wants all those candy canes?!"

Board: "Hmmm, I don't think so."

Idea Guy: "Wait, we'll call it Jingle Cruise."

(crickets)

Idea Guy: "You know, instead of JUNGLE Cruise! It's genius."

Board: "I don't care. Fine."
