Trip Report It started with a wish. Our April 2015 wish fullfilled vacation.

This is the longest it has ever taken me to write a trip report, but I have a great excuse. I promise! A little background on us:
Me, DH, and two DS 5,9. This was our fourth consecutive trip together and my 19th overall. We stayed at Caribbean Beach this go round and drove down as we had a side trip to Tallahassee. The ptr can be found in my signature.

I can't seem to upload pics from my phone, so it's going to take a little while for me to get this going.

I lost my memory card, but I still have the pics I put on facebook. This will not be the most in depth trip report, but it's been a year and I really want to get it down because it was a very special trip for our family. I'd like to get this completed so we can focus on our Poly trip in 272 days!

Day One:

After a giant hiccup with the rental car company, which nearly derailed the entire trip, we loaded up the car and headed to Tallahassee.

After a very long 18 hour drive, we arrived at our destination and spent two short days with friends and family.

Then it was off to our second home!

The ride to Disney ended up taking a bit longer than we expected due to crappy weather, so we were tired when we got to our destination. This year we decided to stay at Caribbean Beach to complete stays at all the moderates. We were grumpy when we got there, but of course it didn't last because the front desk staff whipped out swords and eye patches for the kids and upgraded us to a garden view room!

Instead of heading straight to the parks, we decided to check out our home for the week. CBR is really beautiful, but way too big for us.

After a nice swim and several trips down the slides, we hit up the food court and called it an early night because we had an 8:05 ADR at CP in the morning!

Day Two:
We were up bright and early to get to our morning ADR. I need to find my memory card so that I can post pics of a mostly empty main street, but here are the ones I have and ones from Crystal Palace. Crystal Palace was okay. It was really cool to see the park before opening and Crystal Palace is gorgeous, but it is really expensive for breakfast.

After breakfast we made our way through an empty Adventureland, stopping to ride everything as there was no wait. We made our way to the back of the park and walked right on Splash Mountain. It was a fantastic start to the day.

After Splash it was finally time for our Mine Train fastpasses! We had been waiting two years to ride. On our previous trip they soft opened it on the morning we left! We had been seeing the cars running and we were waiting for a soft opening and when we were on the bus to the airport I saw the post on here that they opened it! So, this was a big deal and we loved it! It really is super short though, especially for the lengthy wait times.

No trip is complete without delicious lunch at BOG. The food is so good and we just love the atmosphere there.

The Mine Train was broken down for so long that they made the people evacuate.

We let the boys ride together on BTMR

After BTMR we took a ferry across the way to our favorite place to escape - Tom Sawyer's Island. I know a lot of people think it's old and cheesy, but we love getting away from the hustle and bustle and just relaxing on the island.

After another trip down Splash Mountain, we headed back to the resort for nice long mid-day break. The pool at CBR is so cool. It's second only to the pool at CSR, nothing beats that. After a nice nap we headed back to the Kingdom and decided to do something we have always wanted to do, but never had the time for - Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom! We had a blast playing this and I wish we had more time, so that we could finish it.

Our youngest son has been waiting years to be tall enough to ride Space Mountain. It was finally his year!

Day Three: Epcot (AKA Monsoon Day)

Usually when it rains in Disney we wait it out and it passes quickly. This was not one of those times. It rained the entire day, with periods of lighter rain. It turned into quite the adventure as we raced from country to country trying to keep out of the downpours. We did get a little break in the rain and attempted to play P&F, but didn't get very far. We did eat a lot of amazing food at every country around the world and saw a lot of things we have missed in the past. It could have been a terrible day, but we turned it into a fun one despite the rainy (and cold!) weather.
