Do you know where there is a sharp picture of the old park before the hat preferably with a high resolution? I googled MGM 1989 and only got some really blurry pics that would have me sitting on Photoshop for hours.

Have you tried Yesterland? I know they have old photos/plans/maps/etc. of the parks....

Disney Studios Paris does have something similar already...

When seen in person it is only 20ft high.

Stick that on the roof of the GMR and the next storm will have it down in no time.

The only problem I have with the Earful tower is that you could only really see it.....on the now closed Backlot Tour. It's an icon that isn't really in the park itself (in fact it's next to an employee parking garage.)

time to make a bigger tower!

The Chinese Theater is not an exact replica either. Sleeping Beauty Castle is very clearly a mimic of Neuschwanstein. There is not much room for differentiating a sphere. Few probably really know anything but the largest categories of trees. Volcanoes also have a stereotypical image.

Me too! I think its the echo of the munchkin song in the GMR...it's sort of a GMR hallelujah chorus! The oppressive hat has hand a house landed on it!

Wow that's big lol. I was thinking more of a forced perspective kind of thing making it look off in the distance. Still shows my general idea though, but maybe it wasn't as good as I originally thought.
