We go to WDW and DL twice a year. We also love cruises. We do not live in FL or CA. Is it still worth it?
Hmm, how do you know they changed your password, and what the reasoning behind it was? You should be able to call member services to get it straightened out. They are open today. One new disadvantage: DVCMember.com is annoying again. For two Saturday mornings in a row I wasn't able to get on. For some idiotic reason they decided to change my password, and because of the near criminal and unwanted update to Windows, I can't even get into the email which allegedly sent me the new password. Yeah, on consecutive Saturday mornings I feel my blood pressure rising to Monday morning levels because computer nerds are updating me into oblivion. Not a happy owner right now.

If you bought resale, that is why you cannot log on. They are taking away all perks.Well, two Saturdays ago we tried to book fastpasses. Neither Disney Experience nor DVCMember worked for us on our home computer or on our Iphones. We called. The lady mentioned that updates had been made. 2 days ago, I tried again from our home computer because I was curious about Aulani availability. No luck. This morning, back at my work computer, I monkeyed around and put in a new password. I tried to log on again, and all I get is Woody and his horse next to the circle of doom.
This is what I know: Up until a few months ago, I could log on to DVCMember with my phone, my home computer, and my work computer. Now, I can't, and member services mentioned an update that probably left me behind in some tech dark ages. It has now been ten days, and I'm still not able to get on.
My assumption: Some unnecessary upgrade by some computer geek(s) is making my membership less valuable, and downright annoying. DVC IT support has failed an otherwise happy owner who never had prior serious problems.
I've came to the conclusion that buying a decent is only worth it if you know you'll go atleast 15 times or so in your life. More importantly I recommend not financing it. Bc that 25k becomes 35k and makes it where it takes more for it to be worth it.
