I am going to Disneyland - Last trip 1987

After 27 years I am planning a return trip to Disneyland. My wife and I have been to Disneyland many times when we lived in California, but have never been to Disney California Adventure. We have been all ten of the other Disney parks. At the seven month window, we where able to get book into a two-bedroom suite at Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa for three nights in May. We are so looking forward to it. I am going to have to start reading up on the parks and planning the trip. Any tips?

It's a great start to get acquainted with modern DLR from a WDW vet's perspective. May is also when the big 60th kickoff is, so hopefully that will all be ready for you when you get here!

It will be an awesome time. Most if not all of the major attractions should be open, you're staying at a great hotel with a highly recommended bar and close proximity to both parks, including an entrance to DCA in the hotel itself, weather hopefully will be perfect.
