How was the Fantasmic Dessert party?

How many people ventured out in the cold for this?

I heard Rob MKT was all over the place :lol:

Mousefest today (Meet and Greet) was boring to say the least. I guess I always assume there's some big production going on, but it was just people talking to each other, which is fine if that's the purpose of going. But that' just me

It doesn't hurt that Deb Willis (who organized the event) had to ask me to take off my "Roy is Right" button & that Jim Hill blew me off like yesterday's trash

After that I left and didn't say hi to Pam or any of the WDWMagic crew that were there. Oh well, life goes on.

I wasn't at the dessert party myself, so I don't know. Nothing bad or anything, just being his "cooky" self :lol:

Jim Hill is just a regular guy. No super powers or anything. I guess I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but I waited in line (if you can believe that) to speak with him. After I introduced myself and shook his hand (I assumed he remembered me after I had sent him a somewhat scathing email & he responed to such the same way) just wanted to tell him no hard feelings or anything, he saw a group of people he knew behind me and turned away and talked to them in the middle of my sentence. So I was standing there thinking, OK, either he is caught up in the moment, or could care less. so I walked away.

Deb was nice about asking me to take it off. She did organize the event, so she kinda can make the rules and I wasn't there to ruffle any feathers. A whole bunch of people had stopped me previously to ask me where I got it and how they loved it. So either word got around or she saw it herself.

I agreed to, not a huge deal and she even made sure I was okay with it and all. Apparently a group of people came up to her before the event and wanted to talk to or lobby the group about the Disney/Eisner situation and she wouldn't agree to it. Again, this was not a political agenda, but a Meet and Greet event.

I´m very curious to know how the dessert party went and who all was there, and who wasn´t wearing a coat! :animwink:

YUP!!! I most certainly was! I have attended 3 meets the past week...

WDWMagic Meet, Intercot Meet, and bumped into a 3rd ANONYMOUS websites meet..

It was great.. I couldn't get my camera to work it was HORRIBLE!
But Pam will have pictures for everyone to see.. it was very well set up and everything was SO good. I had coffee and i had two friends over that night I was really hyper from having atleast one of ever dessert and the coffee i was so hyped, then went to bed at 1 am and had to wake up a 5 am to go to MK for the parade.

The Dessert Party was fantactic! We had the patio all to ourselves. After being escorted in by the events people, we all enjoyed desserts including waffles with icecream and strawberries, fresh fruit, chocolates and truffles, mini french pastries and mini fruit topped cheesecakes. We also had coffee,decaf coffee, assorted teas and hot chocolate. They also had different items that you could add to the hot beverages including whipped cream and marshmellows for the hot cocoa and peppermint sticks etc. for the others.

We had tables that sat 4. I have pics of all of the tables and group shots. I will try to have them up by tomorrow night. I just got home today and have a ton of things to catch up on with work.

The meets are for anyone who can make it and can pay the entry cost if there is one. CM, guest... whoever.
