Virtual Room Tour

If you go to www.disneyvacationclub.com, you can get a good look at the rooms. On the home page, scroll down to "explore the disney vacation club resorts", and click on one. At the resort page, click on the Accommodations link on the left side. You will see a button for View 360 Room Tour. Click on that, and you can choose which room type to view.

It's fun to "walk" around, and you can't get a better idea of what the place is going to look like without actually going there yourself. Make sure you click on the highlighted areas to get closeups of all the rooms, even those that may be out of sight from the main view.

The Grand Villas are very hard to come by. They do not have very many on property compared to the others (studio, 1 and 2 bedroom) They sleep 12. They are also extremely expensive.

Have you considered booking off-site? You would need transportation, and couldn't do the dining plan or Magic Hours, but you would be able to get extremely nice accommodations for a fraction of the cost. Vacation homes can have up to 5 bedrooms, or you could go with a condo (Check on the boards for offsite hotels for recommendations). We have stayed on and off site, and except for the magic hours (which we never use anyway), we really don't feel like we miss anything.
