Just in, I heard over on Twitter that someone said that all of WDW is having a power outage right now, no further details are available at this time. If anyone is in the parks at this time please reply.

We were at MK all day yesterday. The only attraction that never came back was Splash Mountain. The ride was dry pretty much all day, with no water running. We never ran into any other attraction that was down. With Splash being down, Fastpass lines for all major attractions were running almost 30 minutes long all day.

They were probably using the water to fight the brush fire... ;)

I was at Magic Kingdom yesterday as well, and on top of Splash Mountain being down, throughout the day there were closings for Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Philarmagic, Buzz, and Winnie the Pooh. Needless to say, fastpass lines were very much insane at other attractions.

Isn't this the second time in the past few months that the resort has lost all power? You would think they'd be looking into better power redundancy plans. It's a bit surprising considering they make it through hurricanes without losing any power.

The resort didn't exactly loose power. It was a power glitch not a power outage. Backup systems and reduncies operated as expected. Guests were not left in the dark and most attractions were still cycling. Attractions went down because show elements and other features not on a UPS shut down or required resets.
