So power is restored as of now?My app shows most everything open.
Wow imagine being at the parks and everything stops?
I can see it now:
"I paid a large amount of money to be here and Im going to let customer service know that I am NOT happy!"
It happened twice that I know of at EPCOT Center in the 80sWow imagine being at the parks and everything stops?
They were probably using the water to fight the brush fire...We were at MK all day yesterday. The only attraction that never came back was Splash Mountain. The ride was dry pretty much all day, with no water running. We never ran into any other attraction that was down. With Splash being down, Fastpass lines for all major attractions were running almost 30 minutes long all day.
The resort didn't exactly loose power. It was a power glitch not a power outage. Backup systems and reduncies operated as expected. Guests were not left in the dark and most attractions were still cycling. Attractions went down because show elements and other features not on a UPS shut down or required resets.Isn't this the second time in the past few months that the resort has lost all power? You would think they'd be looking into better power redundancy plans. It's a bit surprising considering they make it through hurricanes without losing any power.
