Have you ever been evacuated off of a Disney ride?

Have you ever been instructed to exit a Disney ride vehicle at a place other than the normal area?

I read about people getting evacuated from Disney rides all the time, and there are now several videos on Youtube of this happening, but in all the years I've been going it's never happened to me. I know a lot of the people on here have been going for years, and some of us tend to go to the parks frequently, so I'm curious just how many of us have experienced this.

Stories (horror or not) are welcome.

You know, strange enough as it seems with the amount of times I've been to the park.. I've never been pulled off a ride. I've been stuck on one before, 30 minutes, bottom of the hill at Splash Mountain, but it eventually started moving.

I have. There's no drama or horror story involved, so I apologize beforehand. It was our turn for Soarin, so we sat down, buckled up and waited...and waited...and waited until they finally announced the ride wasn't operational. They gave us Fast Passes and lead us out an exit that went outside and then back in. It was pretty straightforward.

Haunted Mansion, we were at the end of the hallway heading to the library when it stopped. Waited for about 10 minutes then the lights came on and we all exited the attraction back toward the front. I wondered what the people near the ballroom, attic or graveyard did? I was thinking there has to be some sort of "breaking point" where these guests exit this way and others exit that way.

Not a ride, but for a film in a theme park. I was at One Man's dream when a power outage happen and the film stopped and was told to leave the attraction. Got no fast passes at all.

It was nothing compare to the time the engine on a boat died while traveling from Downtown Disney to Port Orleans French quarter. Thankfully the engine died at dock another ferry was able to pick up the guests including myself to Port Orleans French Quarter and Port Orleans Riverside.

Despite being to WDW many times I've never been evacuated. I have been stuck on a ride, but for no longer then about 10 minutes

We've been to all four parks many, many times and have not once been evacuated off a ride. We have, however, gotten stuck on several. There was one time where I thought we would have to be evacuated off HM- we were stuck for about 45 minutes.

We were evacuated off Toy Story Mania 2 years ago. I was still in the othopedic boot at the time, so it was a bit of a hassle, but the CM's handled it very well.

I was on Rock and Roller coaster and it happened right at the beginning of the ride. Just before we were going into the first loop. Car just stopped and the lights came on. We sat there for several minutes and then the CM's came in and escorted everyone out. It was quite disappointing, though I did ride later that day.

I've never been evacuated, but I was on a few rides that stopped for a few minutes. Splash Mountain, Spaceship Earth, Peter Pan, and Haunted Mansion came to mind. It was only for 15 minutes at the most, but some rides stopped repeatedly.

We were on the safari. We had left the loading dock and were about to enter the savannah when the brakes stalled on our vehicle, we rolled down a small hill, and crashed into the vehicle behind us. After making sure everyone was ok, CMs came out and somehow maneuvered our vehicle to another loading dock which was off to the side. We all had to get off. As we were standing on the platform, a kid who was in our vehicle vomited all over herself and the floor. After waiting for 30 minutes for them to get our disabled vehicle out of the way, they finally got us another one and off we went. Funny thing was, our driver was extremely apologetic, but the management who came to help never apologized. We didn't get fast passes or anything. When we got off the ride, we (the vehicle riders) were told to go to guest relations (if we would like) to issue a complaint. We had already lost so much time on the ride that we never bothered to go. At least the vomit missed us and no one was hurt.

We were on pirates when it broke and had to be evacuated. We floated for awhile and eventually our boat was pulled to the side and we got out and went out a door and we were led outside and were backstage. We got fast passes for a ride.
Had an experience similar to someone else's at soarin where we were seated and sat for awhile and the given fast passes for another ride, but that was at California Adventure and we got to use our fast passes in Disneyland park too. Radiator springs wasn't open yet.
We've also gotten stuck on test track and got to ride again right away and our elevator stalled at tower of Terror too.

We were evacuated off Test Track in August. With the new redesign, it was pretty boring walking through the old hot/cold room. We were given fastpasses to return later.
