Join The Studio Chapter for fun, food and BINGO in Griffith Park at our next meeting on Sunday, June 20! We’ll be leaving our usual meeting location at the Autry National Center, but we’re just going a little farther down the road to a picnic area near the Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round. Join us as we enjoy the summer sun, good food, good friends, and - of course - BINGO for great Disney prizes! (The cost to play BINGO is $1.00 per card per game, with proceeds going to The Studio Chapter.) Besides an appetite and a strong desire to play BINGO, we ask that members bring along a food item to share; the Chapter will provide burgers, hot dogs, and soft drinks. If you’re not in the mood for BINGO, there are many other fun things to enjoy nearby, such as tennis courts, pony rides, bike rentals, and rides on the world-famous Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round. It’ll be a great way to spend Father’s Day - please join us for a fun and exciting afternoon!
The Studio Chapter meets at 1:00 p.m. at the Park Center picnic area in Griffith Park, located across the road from the ranger station on Crystal Springs Drive; to get to the Park Center picnic area, follow the signs for the Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round and park in the Merry-Go-Round parking lot. Members are requested to bring a food item to share at the barbecue; non-members are not required to bring an item but are encouraged to do so. Non-members are welcome to attend.
