Great New DVC perk on AP!

I heard a rumor and it has been confirmed from a number of people.

The long awaited and much requested discount on AP for DVC members starting Jan 2, 2003. $100 off adult Annual passes, $75 of renewals, $125 of Premium Annual Passes. $85 of child Annual passes.

The DVC discount will apply for members of the immediate family (this include childrens, siblings, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, SIL, DIL, etc. . There will be a maximum of eight AP/PAP purchases allowed per year. )

So rough estimate is 303 for an AP for ages 10 and up. Heck if you went every day of the year it would only cost you 83 cents a day!

If this amount is right it is cheaper then the FLA Resident AP rate. It apears there will be addtional discounts for FLA residents too.

The discount will apply to AP/PAP purchases and renewals beginning on January 2, 2005.

More information will be available in the next Vacation Magic - due to be mailed in the next few weeks. I have also heard emails will be sent out and confrimation on the DVC web site soon.

Disney Vacation Club Members and their immediate family (living in the same household) are eligible to receive discounts on new and renewed 2005 Walt Disney World® Annual and Premium Annual Passes beginning January 2, 2005.

Your Disney Vacation Club Member ID card must be provided and all adults must present a valid driver's license or state identification card showing they reside in the same household. Limit 8 purchases per household.


When a Walt Disney World Annual or Premium Annual Pass is ordered through dvcmember.com, an exchange certificate will be sent to you via mail. The certificate can be redeemed at any Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket window by presenting the exchange certificate, your Disney Vacation Club Member ID card and all adults must present a valid driver's license or state identification card showing they reside in the same household. The Pass is good for 365 days from exchange certificate redemption. Renewals will be valid for 365 days from original Pass Anniversary Date.


When a Walt Disney World Annual or Premium Annual Pass is purchased through any Walt Disney World Theme Park or the Downtown Disney Guest Relations location, your Disney Vacation Club Member ID card must be provided and all adults must present a valid driver's license or state identification card showing they reside in the same household. The Pass is good for 365 days from the date of purchase. Renewals will be valid for 365 days from the original Pass Anniversary Date.

Great new DVC perk on AP

Too late for me, bought mine last month, but it is great news and long overdue.
Now they need to have that special DVC member-only night (like last May) on a monthly basis and I'll be in heaven.
