Giving back borrowed points...

I borrowed points for a trip to WDW in January 2017 (thinking my family was going to run in the marathon-they aren't). Our use year ends February 28,. As we're in WDW right now, we'd really rather not come again in January. I know I can't put these points back into 2017...but are there any other options?

Nope you will have to use them by the end of this current use year. They cannot be banked (not certain but do remember this being said to me when borrowing etc) or put back unfortunately. You can rent them out though that is an option and get paid per point for someone to rent them.
