Getting back to the World

Hey all,
What is the best option to get from Port Canaveral back to Pop Century? I know Disney offers the shuttle, how quickly do those start leaving in the morning? We want to head out early to be at Epcot as early as possible after dropping our stuff at Pop and are looking at different options-

Disney's shuttle service will be $35 per person. You are able to start debarking the ship at 7:30am (usually). You will need to go through customs and get your luggage (unless you are carrying it off the ship yourself). Shuttles will be there and will leave as soon as they fill up for the resorts.
The only faster alternative would be having a rental car parked at the cruise terminal, or hiring a driver to be there waiting for you. Both of those will cost you more though, obviously.

Use the Disney shuttle service. We will be taking it from Port Canaveral back to our WDW resort on Monday, November 16.

If you carry your luggage off yourself, you can actually start leaving the ship by 7 am. Last time, we were off the ship and waiting in a Disney van by 7:10. As soon as there were enough families in the van, we took off for WDW. We were dropped off last at the Cotemporary, and were still at MK before 9:30. Depending on how many people you are traveling with, it may be less expensive to hire a car. We were traveling with 10 people our first cruise, so we hired Black Car Orlando to pick us up. We scheduled a pick up for 8 am, but we were off way earlier. We left Port Canaveral right at 8 am and were being dropped off at Pop Century right at 9 am. Have a great trip!!
