Hello, having never stayed at either resort, I saw earlier that with the 30% off the cabins are 10$ cheaper than the lodge. What are, if any, the differences between the two. Is 1 nicer to stay at than the other? This would be a 1 night stay with my wife, 3 yr old son, and me. Thanks in advance

The differences between the two are night and day.

Wilderness Lodge is an actual resort where as Ft Wilderness is a camp ground.

The cabin is an actual cabin that will sleep 6 with a porch, full kitchen and living room where at a standard room at Wilderness is a regular hotel room.

The only real con about Ft Wilderness is its size. Getting anywhere in Ft Wilderness involves a very long walk, taking one of the internal buses or renting a golf cart or bike.

The main differences have already been described as above. Since it's only 3 of you and a 1 night stay, you'd be better off staying at the Wilderness Lodge
