FP+ question regarding AP's

We purchased Annual Passes but cant activate them until we arrive in Aug. We did book accommodations and ordered magic bands. My question is, can we book FP+ without park tickets and have them linked when we get the AP's?

Im sorry if this has been answered before. I couldn't see any posts that would answer it.
