Just curious to hear some pros and cons between Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. Is one better than the other? Any tips, tricks, recommendations?

Typhoon lagoon is my personal favourite, I prefer the theme to blizzard beach, both are good though. Blizzard beach looked pretty tired at the end of August and the water in the lazy river was very shallow in my opinion my shallower than normal. Managed to cut one of my knees on the floor because of it. It is due a refurbishment in just over a month though.
