Employment at WDW

On November 8, I went to the casting center to apply for a postion at The World. Well, Its already Mid-December, and I have heard nothing at all. Is there a way to call the casting center and check on my application?

Nope, just have patience.

It took me 5 and a half months to get a response on my application from Casting for an interview. After my interview, things happened fast...like within a week, I had accepted a job, was drug tested, on boarded, and Traditions scheduled. So, don't wait on pins and needles for an interview. your application is in the system for 6 months, after it's been 6 months then you can reapply, until then, all you can do is wait. You can if you want call casting or check your account online just to make sure that your application still is active kinda thing.

Five and a half months??? Holy Hannah! I would have given up long before that. Congrats on the job! How do you like working for Disney and what do you do there?

your mileage may vary. I've heard people waiting several months. I got a call within a week.

I got an email today, have an appointment on Janurary 18th at 1pm, anyone got any advice on what to bring and what happens in the interview

Wear a suit, smile a lot, especially when the interviewer picks you out of the lobby...also, just be yourself and show enthusiasm about working for Disney...
