Emerald Isle

Just rented a condo for upcoming trip. How is the community? Stayed over in Graeter Groves last time and loved it but wanted something a little closer.

This is your typical vacation home community, but very close to WDW compared to Greater Groves, etc. Check out www.awardpoolhomes.com They only manage a few homes at GG. Don't be afraid to haggle on the price if you are staying for more than a few days. The staff Award Vacation Homes are great. We've been renting from them since 2006 and have saved thousands of dollars.

We stayed at an Emerald Isle home in 2011. It was a nice place, big (five bedrooms), pool, hot tub, etc. The neighborhood was walkable (if you like to unwind with a walk) and fairly close to WDW - AK was the closest park at just six minutes away. Grocery stores are en route from the parks to the house. I've stayed in four different area rental homes and this one was the nicest and closest of the bunch.

Emerald Isle is beautiful!! Windsor Palms has an awesome clubhouse/community area and I find Aviana Resort to be a bit more private & secluded. Seems like each are different and right for different reasons. Depends on what you are looking for!!
