DVC Short Points Help

Hello, I am dvc member. I am short points for a upcoming vacations by 40-45 points. Is there any was to rent/ buy the points needed? I contacted a place but it would be to separate reservations and would have to change rooms which I rather not do. Any suggestions?

So you can't borrow any from the next UY? If you can't borrow then you'd need to find an owner to transfer some points to you.

You can "buy" up to 15 points from DVD for a single use, otherwise as @lostpro9het mentioned you need borrow or to find another owner willing to transfer you points. See the official info on transfers here -> https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/points/transfer/ Key point to keep in mind

Members are prohibited from receiving compensation for engaging in any transferring of Vacation Points.

Having 2 different reservations isn't a guarantee that you would need to change rooms if they are the same room type, they may be able to let you stay in the same room, just need to check back in.

You can purchase up to 24 One-Time Use Vacation Points for $15/point. This can only be done at 7 months out for DVC Resort Reservations.
