Well, we decided to buy DVC points for the first time for our next trip in May 2018. We got a Deluxe Studio - Savanna View in the Jambo House at the AKL! We're all very excited because this will be our first time in a deluxe resort.
I'm still a little apprehensive about everything from here on out. .We still need to buy tickets. We are not using the dining plan or plan to use Magical Express so I don't think we need to have the DVC member do anything else for us? It's my understanding that I can book ADR, FP+ and do online check-in through our MDE account just as I always do. If that's not correct feel free to set me straight.
