Disneyland NYE World of Color show

Hi all!

I am in the process of planning a romantic vacation to Disneyland in
California during the upcoming winter holiday season. My partner and I
are hoping to spend New Years Eve in Disney California Adventure (DCA).
It is my understanding that DCA will be having special New Year's Eve
World of Color show and I have a few questions regarding the World of
Color Showings on New Year's Eve.

Will DCA also be offering the usual 28 minute long World of Color show
prior to the NYE Wold of Color Show?

Or Will DCA also be offering the usual 28 minute long in addition to
the NYE Wold of Color Show?

Or Will the usual 28 minute long World of Color show not be occurring on
New Years Eve?

I have tried to find information about this on Disneyland Califonia's official site but have not had any luck.

Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

World of Color - Winter Dreams will be performed in its entirety. The NYE show is a tag added on.

Also, if your looking forward to a romantic vacation, be warned. That is THE busiest time of the year, the time period between Christmas and New Years, so expect the parks to be at close to full capacity.

To answer more of your questions, I believe what @GiveMeTheMusic is correct. I think that World of Color Winter Dreams (not the regular WOC show, just a special holiday version) plays with a New Years tag at the end.

Close - the NYE WOC tag is a countdown to midnight, followed by about 4-5 minutes of fireworks and fountains. Then at 12:05am, the regular World of Color - Winter Dreams show begins and is performed in its entirety, so the NYE tag comes first.

And to clarify further, the "regular" World of Color show is not performed during the holiday season. An entirely different show, World of Color - Winter Dreams, takes its place, using Christmas vignettes and characters from Frozen to celebrate the holidays.
