Can someone else use the pin code that was sent to you? I have one that does not include our dates but will work fine for the dates my niece and her family are going,

I was told no but I've seen some others that were able to transfer I think @PrincessNelly_NJ had luck with this? I could be wrong though

Yes, I was able to use a pin code assigned to my mother even though she wasn't going and we don't share last names or addresses.
I called and said I had a pin code, didn't say that it was my mothers, they asked me for the name & address it was under (hers) and then linked the pin code to my account and then applied it to my reservation.
You can also book the pin code discounts online.

Online all they ask for is the PIN, the last name and zip code

I just got back from the World yesterday and found ANOTHER PIN in my mailbox! That's the second one( yes, it's different) in about 2 months!
