Disney is going to scale back the Polynesian DVC plans in a big way.

"Honey, I've got some good news for you! Disney just opened up a new DVC resort at the Polynesian and I've bought us 200 points at $150 a point. They've got these great waterfront bungalows that will be an awesome stay for our 25th anniversary in 3 years! Plus we can stay at any other DVC resort, like the Grand Floridian Villas."

Skip to the future...hubby goes to make reservation for a week at the Poly bungalow for his 25th. Finds out that he will be waitlisted for a bungalow, so he books a regular DVC room in one of the other buildings. They check in and find out their view of the Lagoon is the back of one of the bungalows he can never get. That was an excellent $30,000 investment....

The story continues with....Disney calls and there is a bungalow available but the amount of points you purchased only get you one night in the bungalow.

Those waterfalls are just too noisy and the sound is amplified by the atrium. Removal of the waterfalls is a step in the right direction. It would be nice if they replaced it with a play area for the children.

Never been in poly club, I thought it was the one just to the left of GCH on the way to the luau.that stinks

That is the suites club building. Hawaii club has regular rooms.
