With two full months and three major releases left on its 2016 slate, Walt Disney Studios announced Wednesday it has posted its biggest year ever at the global box office, earning $5.851.4 billion as of Tuesday. The massive worldwide haul surpasses Disney’s 2015 calendar-year record of $5.843.8 billion.
