I don't like her. But more to the point, I don't like stunt casting for a movie like this. Leave that to Dreamworks.

And those gosh-awful dance parties at the end of practically every film. :banghead::banghead::banghead: It was cute & fun when Shrek did this back in 2001, but now it has become way too monotonous & cliched in the Dreamworksverse.

Okay, venting over. Back to Lion King. Disney, please do not screw this up!

Practically every Disney movie lately has had some form of 'stunt casting'.
BatB- Emma Watson as Belle was the big one, but the voices for the objects had some as well.
Jungle Book- Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, ScarJo, Idris Elba (that was a busy year for Idris in terms of voice roles- Dory, JB, and Zootopia)
Pete's Dragon- Robert Redford
Cinderella- Cate Blanchett
Maleficient- Angelina Jolie
.... (going back to the early 90s)
Aladdin- Robin Williams
Pocahontas- Mel Gibson
Mulan- Eddie Murphy
The Lion King- James Earl Jones, Whoopi Goldberg, Cheech Marin, Jeremy Irons, Nathan Lane, and Matthew Broderick

The original Lion King was full of big names (I think Nathan Lane is better known now than he was then though). I don't see why the remake should be any different

If Beyoncé was nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award for any of those films she's been in, she would've definitely won a few.

No Broadway songs are making it into the film my guess any songs added shall be new (for Oscar nom reasons)
