Couldn't Elsa turn Cinderella Castle to ice?

We went and saw Frozen last night and LOVED IT! At the end of the movie, the first thing my boyfriend said was "They should have Elsa turn the castle into ice!" I love Cinderella's Holiday Wish, and LOVE the effect of the castle turning into ice, but wouldn't it have been AWESOME if they had come up with an inclusion for Elsa this year to freeze the castle instead of the Fairy Godmother?... I mean, they changed the entire World of Color as a publicity stunt for Frozen.. I would think that this would have been a great idea, and I can't believe no-one at TDO thought of it!

Frozen is a great movie, just saw it today. Including Elsa is a neat idea, I'm sure Disney immagineers could have found a way to bring her into the story.

Excellent idea but I think that might too much overkill. Plus I do not think Elsa would work with Cinderella - they would have had to change the entire story line of the show.

I don't think the character has enough widespread recognition yet, plus the show would need changing to incorporate her.

I thought of the same thing way before the film came out, it would be a great promotion. Have her turn the castle into a winter wonderland (Maybe some of new fantasyland too

all the show would need is for her to visit Cinderella not that much of a stretch, they already have other princesses visiting during other castle shows. Heck all Elsa would have to do is just show up have some cool choreography synced with each dome lighting up. Simple re write hopefully next year!

I haven't seen the movie yet, but became extra excited to see it when I read Idina Menzel plays Elsa. She won a Tony playing Elphabel in the original Wicked on Broadway. DW has the CD from the show. She saw that show, I didn't. Idina is incredibly talented.

This isn't her first Disney Movie...She Played Patrick Dempsey's Girlfriend in the Movie Enchanted who then goes with the Prince to the Animated world at the end..

I really liked Frozen. It was so full of little surprises. "Do you want to build a snowman" has been stuck in my head.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I think it would be easy to rewrite the show and add maybe Elsa AND Anna in. Perhaps Elsa turns the Castle into ice as a gift to Cinderella for being invited into the Kingdom (or whatever ). I just think it would make more sense, and it would be a great introduction for the cast of Frozen into the Magic Kingdom character family.

We just watched the clip above and my DD6 says to me "wouldn't it be cool if Elsa turned the castle to look like the one in the movie?". So I for one... think it would be a terrific idea!

Now this bugs me here.. you have a Queen & a Princess..Makes me wonder if they do an official Coronation for Anna to become a Disney Princess and push Elsa out of the way due to her being a Queen and the Only only one to have a M&G..I mean I found it disapointing that Merida's Mom wasn't there for M&G's yet she was there for her Coronation and faded to Rare Character Land..

The rules for being a Princess seem intentionally flexible so that Disney can include whoever they want- Mulan for example. If both Anna and Elsa are popular, then both will get inducted into the DP line.
