Cool Stuff Backstage as seen from Google

So I was wandering around backstage via Google maps and noticed this cool sculpture back stage in a grassy area between test track, Mexico Pavilion and Norway Pavilion. I have never noticed it before. I wonder if it is an old prop or has it always been there? Looks to be a sculpture of Spaceship Earth.

I have pictures of that sculpture from when they were directing people from WS to FW backstage on New Year's awhile ago. Here's one now. Blurry as I was on the move to avoid getting trampled.

If I am not mistaken, that was the metal frame a SSE topiary used back in the early days of the flower and garden festival.

That is most likely a construction debris barrier (also known as a turbidity curtain). This is done anytime there is any work done near a shoreline where contaminating the water is a possibility.

Center left of the picture looks to be about 51 boats from PoTC. Located backstage between Splash Mountain and Pirates.

Here's the area in the extreme north corner of WDW property. It has always been here but with the latest update of google's map it looks much nicer than before. This is an area where some employees live, the circle of mobile homes in the middle of the picture. Likely the ones that are citizens of Bay Lake for RCID voting purposes? The red line denotes the approximate property line. Talk about living on the edge! Bottom left of the picture is the central shops dry dock area.
