We are traveling the week of November 9. Will decorations be up in the resorts?

Possibly. Resorts usually begin decorating in mid-November.

Last year we stopped in on the 20th or 21st, and they had just put them up then (GF and AK still didn't have their trees if I remember correctly). You might not see many that early.

Tree and decorations were up at AKL when we arrived 5 Dec of last year.

Not all the resorts will but the parks will have most up starting 11/7. The first MVMCP at MK is on 11/7 so the Castle lights will be up and Osborne Light start at HS on 11/7 as well. So you will definitely get to experience some of the wonderful Christmas events and decorations.
The Gingerbread House at the Grand Floridian and other gingerbread displays at the other resorts like BW, Comtemporary, Yacht Club etc is usually up around mid November. Last year those were up around 11/17. So I do not know how long you will be there but those are a must to check out if you are still there.
