I didn't realize we were close enough to Cars 3 for a teaser. Not a lot of info but the premise is more interesting than Cars 2.

This actually has me very intrigued. Definitely a dark turn for a franchise that has become so defined by Mater's antics.

I also found it very intriguing, but I wouldn't be surprised if most of that darkness goes out the window in the actual film.

It's a good question!
I didn't hate Cars 2...I just thought it didn't carry on with the solid storytelling of Cars...
That said, I thought Planes was highly underrated. Yeah, a silly story, but well told. So was Planes 2.

Ugh. This sounds legitimately terrible.
I am actually kind of looking forward to this one.
I have a feeling what will make it or break it for me is how the "millennial" stereotype is portrayed. If they go full on "old guy complaining about these kids and their phones today" viewpoint then I can all but guarantee that I will not like it.
