I thought it would be a good idea for folks who have seen and want to talk about Captain America to do so here. You can talk about anything without fear of spoiling the film for others. And again, SPOILERS below.

My son and I just he back from seeing it! Movie was epic and really sets up Avengers 2 quite well! Can't wait to see what they do!

I loved that black widow and nick fury had such promenate roles in the movie!

Loved the War Games reference! ;)

Join me, together we can rule the galaxy.
The fact that BW & NF played such prominent rolls supporting the story was indeed very good, and even better that events from CA2 have already been worked into AoS makes for really good entertainment. Looking forward to seeing where AoS goes now, explains why NF was off the grid last week and so much more.

Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver showing up in the credits trailer shocked me.

AoS has mostly been a dud for me but the recent episodes have actually had me looking forward to the next weeks episode. The events in TWS make me wonder if the show writers knew this was going to happen when they started this show.

How could they not! All these things r planned out so far in advance! Fieg said the cinematic universe is mapped out until 2028!!! Just insane!

I honestly think Cap2 may be the reason AOS has been so ineffective in the early going. I think they knew this was coming. They knew the Hydra/SHIELD split and ensuing chaos would form the center of the show, but were treading water waiting for the reveal. I think they got this plot in their head and thought they could get away with treading water and giving us boring set up stories and Asgardian artifact plots until we got here. If the writers have it in them to make a good product within the ABC/Marvel system (and I’m generally a fan of the three in charge of this show now), now will be the time when it takes off. But, we’ll see.

I did just read that the shows writers were relieved to finally come out and say "it's Hydra!" instead of using the run-of-the-mill generic bad guys. I'm on board with the show now that it's got momentum, I just hope it can keep it going.

Loved the movie, easily in the top 3 Marvel movies for me...possibly better than The Avengers. Blew away both Thor movies by a mile.
