Can you do rider switch in single rider lines?

Not sure if that's something that can be done or not. The kiddo is too short for RnRC. I usually do single rider but I've never been with DH or the little one

You wouldn't need the rider switch pass if you are both going through the single rider line. You can skip that step. The Rider Switch Pass allows you to uses the FP+ line for the pass holder.

Disney doesn't have a system for you to really wait together. They will not let kids that are too short enter the line in case parents try to sneak them on in the end. You can ask but most CMs will not let you through.

The rider switch pass helps so you do not have to wait in line twice. It is best to ask the cat member if that would benefit you if you have the option of doing the single rider. Some attractions they will send you through the Fast Pass line or the single rider line. Others you can get through quicker. When you go and ask for a rider switch pass make sure the Cast Member can see your child. The switch pass is good for you and 3 others so if there were other members in your party you do not have to go alone.

Yes you can. And you can pocket the fastpass for later if you both do single riders
