Cali grill for appetizers?

We'll be at Disney in late October. We've had dinner in the past at California Grill and my husband loves the sushi. Not planning on dinner this year but could we show up at the bar and order some as an appetizer? Would they let us up without a reservation?

yes many go up just for appetizers and drinks. obviously more difficult to get near fireworks times

You'll have better luck with doing this if you go early. I've gone up & had drinks & apps many times at Cali Grill without a reservation, but the couple of times I've been turned away because the bar was full were later in the evening. If my husband and I decide we want to do this, we try to get there around 5:30pm. We usually have pretty good luck.
