Breakfast options at Boardwalk Inn

We are considering staying at the Boardwalk for the first time next August. We are used to stay in Values and Moderates, and we usually have breakfast at the food court. What are the breakfast options at the Boardwalk? What do you recommend?
I know about the Bakery, but the breakfast menu seemed limited when I checked it out on Disney's website yesterday (did they change it? I remember seeing more options a couple of weeks ago). I also know about the new princess breakfast at Trattoria al Forno, but my son isn't much of a Tangled fan...
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!:)

Belle Vue at Boardwalk QS-http://allears.net/dining/menu/belle-vue-lounge/breakfast
Beach Club Marketplace at the nearby Beach Club: http://allears.net/dining/menu/beach-club-marketplace/breakfast
Cape May Cafe Character Breakfast at BC: http://allears.net/dining/menu/cape-may-cafe/breakfast
Captains Grille at Yacht Club resort: http://allears.net/dining/menu/captains-grille/breakfast
There's also places to eat at the Swan and Dolphin which is right next door to the Boardwalk resort.

The other option would be The Patisserie in France at EPCOT if you have hoppers http://allears.net/dining/menu/boulangerie-patisserie-les-halles/all-day
Or just get a Garden Grocer delivery of items for breakfast and eat in room. :)

Thanks for the info! I like the idea of the The Pâtisserie in France, didn't think of that one! How is the Belle Vue lounge? Can you take items to go?

Belle Vue is decent. I love their Mickey Chocolate Chip muffins. :joyfull: It's Counter service/Grab n Go. So yes.
France Bakery is my fave though. :inlove:
Mickey chocolate chip muffins definitely speak to me... We don't have park hopper for this trip, but we have one Epcot day (well, day at the hotel and evening at Epcot), so we'll try the Pâtisserie Les Halles in France on that day,:hungry:

The Screen Door has a pastry/breakfast case as well!
