Booking online for October?

I've been watching and pricing out an October trip, hoping for a Standard view or Garden view at the Beach Club. As of today the online booking system says neither are available. I looked at Caribbean Beach & no rooms there either other than pirate rooms. Can it truly be that these rooms are filling up 8 months in advance? Or is it a system issue? Would I have more luck calling in? I've done this so many times before this far in advance & never had an issue. I'm so confused!!!! Anybody have any insight?

We've already booked our rooms for the end of December, so I'm sure October's rooms are in the system. It does seem unlikely though that they'd be completely sold out, unless you're looking around Halloween.

In your shoes, I'd imagine my first step would be to call.

I would give them a call. I will say though that there are dates we have been watching in late November and early December where some places are showing no availability (e.g., CSR and CBR). I am guessing this has a lot to do with construction/limited rooms, but I am guessing people are also booking early... Good luck.

At CBR it's definitely because they're taking almost half of the non-Pirate rooms offline starting in May for the construction.

As for Beach Club, October is Food & Wine Festival season. Those rooms are most likely all booked up.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up calling last night. Availability was no different than what I saw online. We booked a garden view room at the Yacht Club right away. I've never stayed there before, so this actually worked out nicely.

October is a big month for conventions/conferences, the conference will block a large group of rooms.
