Attending the Expo ?

I will be at WDW during the Marathon but unfortunately not running it. Am I still able to go to the expo?

Absolutely. The Expo is free and open to everyone. Transportation is provided from WDW resort hotels to and from the WWoS Complex.

Disney would NEVER prevent you from spending $$$ on its merchandise......

You are definitely able to go, but keep in mind it will almost definitely be slammed for the first few hours when it opens. Going later on opening day, or a later day will have much lower crowd levels. You do however run the risk of not having any merchandise available, but if you aren't running in that particular event then I wouldn't imagine it to be a big deal.
