Are pre opening breakfast ADRs worth it?

With the new rope drop procedure is it even worth having reservations at BOG? We have them for 8:25AM on Dec. 30. We planned to get there early (7:45) so we could still get into the park "early" and possibly get to eat earlier. However, does it even help for rides since people are already in Main Street?

Also, how big are rope drop crowds during the week between Christmas and New Years? Are they just as massive as anything for the holidays or are the crowds for rope drop about the same as the rest of the year?

Bear in mind, the park will probably open at 7am for emh, 8am for everyone else. It did all that week in 2016.

So 8:25 could be good, as you will have time to do quite a bit during emh and soon after rope drop, then eat.

RD crowds at that time are big. And you can expect them to move regular opening to 8:00, with morning EMH at 7.

So if you're going to BOG to enjoy breakfast in the castle, then yes it's worth it. If you're only going because you want an advantage over everyone else, then no, it's not.

We do Akershus PPO breakfast and love it but it is a princess meal. Last year we were finished by 9am and we walked right on Frozen after breakfast. Garden Grill is another one that is great, being that it is right next to Soarin.
