They are on Disney channel online. I live them they are patterned after the gang from the 30's but with stylization of the 40's thru the 60's. the humor is a blend of current and 30's so they're absolutely timeless. There are two out so far. No Service and Croussant Triumphe.

Walt would be proud!!!

YES! I loved it, definitely a step in the right direction for Mickey and the gang. I love the homage back to the classic Mickey from the 30s and the inclusion of other Disney characters like Cinderella and the Yeti from the Matterhorn/Everest.

I only saw No Service and it was alright. I didn't love the animation style and honestly I was a bit shocked to see Mickey naked. But, to be fair I honestly didn't think they were making Mickey cartoons anymore so any is better than none.

I've been so excited, but we can't see them online in Canada (it's blocked on the Disney site???).

Anyway, they start on Disney Junior tomorrow, so I can't wait. Looking at pictures, I was definitely thrown off a bit by the animation style (I like the style in general, but I'm not sure for Mickey), but I'll save judgment for after I see them and I'm excited non the less.

I was excited to hear new Mickey cartoons were being released, BUT I'm one who didnt get thrilled over them because of the animation style. I don't think it gets anywhere close to the artistic talent of the animators of yesterday. And the content.... Not up to par. Ill pass on em.

There is an interview with the artist from this blog..http://blogs.indiewire.com/animationscoop/new-mickey-mouse-shorts
Emmy Award-winning artist and director Paul Rudish (Star Wars: Clone Wars, Dexter's Laboratory) is the executive producer and director. Aaron Springer (SpongeBob SquarePants, Gravity Falls) and Clay Morrow (Dexter's Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls) are directors, and Joseph Holt (Sym-Bionic Titan) is the art director. The series is produced under the supervision of senior vice presidents Eric Coleman and Lisa Salamone at Disney Television Animation.
In other words Cartoon Network artist took over for the shorts...*facepalm*

Like others, I also didn't like the animation style. I mean the characters looked kind of cute, but that wouldn't have been my first choice. I was also shocked to see Mickey naked… Overall though, the cartoons were cute and I liked them!
