If so, what tips do you have to make things less difficult? I'm going to be taking care of Mom, who has shingles, and from what I hear, it's a pretty bad case. She lives alone in another state, is usually extremely stoic, but actually was very glad to hear I'd be coming to care for her. She's got it on her face, around her eye etc., so I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up in the hospital when the doctor sees her today (she was diagnosed last weekend at the hospital Emergency Room). If I'm caring for her at home, how can I make her life a little less painful?
