Just when I thought I knew all that I could possibly know about unbuilt Orlando area monorail (or other rail) plans, I find this unbuilt plan from the 1980's. It's for a strange development I never heard about called Agriplex. From the artwork, you can see the developers clearly planned on building a monorail system for it.
It is unclear if they intended to connect it to the WDW system. It looks like a WEDway (Bombardier) system. It would have to be, since there any other system available during that time that look like the one in these renderings!
Notice the headline above the magazine title: "Will MCA bring Hollwood to Orlando?" Interesting that much came true but its feature article didn't!
