AK navigating

Hi,

I'm in the process of charting out my day at AK. My intent is having finished up lunch at Tusker House and a showing of the Lion King, I would then take the parental units on a stroll through Pandora. Taking a look at the Disney map there is a long path that stems from Lion King to Pandora. There doesn't seem to be anything listed here other than a smoking section and washrooms. Does anyone know if this path is a hidden scenic gem, an unusable service road, etc?

Most info given so far show this being a secondary entrance/exit to the area. It will be open to the public but I don't expect anything other than Pandora-theamed landscaping.

Cast-only areas/paths are not shown on Disney maps. It will be a guest-accessible walkway, but is currently blocked at the Lion King bathrooms.

Also, once the land opens you might want to keep an eye on here for reports of how they handle crowds. If they limit the number of guests in the land like Universal did when they opened the Potter lands, they may implement some kind of controlled traffic flow. (I could envision one entrance path being one-way in and the other being one-way out of the land.)
