After the audition?

My daughter auditioned at the end of June in New York and was kept until the end and her group was told they were being offered full time benefited positions at one of the parks as a stage performer. They had to fill out paperwork and pictures were taken of them. Based on the offer she had decided to defer starting her freshman year of college but she has still not heard from them after 2 months. Does this sound normal? Any advice would be great. Thanks
