    I have tried searching for this, so apologies if I've missed it.

    I want to add photos to my TR, I have no idea how to, when I go to the photo icon when posting it says to enter URL!!!! I'm lost!

    You need to upload your photos to an on-line album somewhere, then paste the URL of where each is stored into the spot you found.

    I use either my WDWMagic photo album or I have my own web server I can link to. You can also use any number of free photo album services on-line.

    Been on Photobucket, I don't get it!!! I've gone to create album, don't understand what I put in for CUSTOM URL, so I pressed SAVE instead and have a blank album!!! I hate technology! Will have to research further some other time! Thanks all.

    I wouldn't worry about albums right now. You can always go back and rearrange your pictures later into different albums if you want.

    Just hit the green upload button and start uploading your pictures. After they are uploaded, all you have to do is select one and copy the URL for each picture that you want to use in a thread.

    Thanks, I'm using my IPad to do this, I think it doesn't show the full version of Photobucket as my OH has looked on the laptop and it shows more info. I shall leave it for the time being! :veryconfu i will sit down with some paper and a pen and do some homework! Thanks again, you've been very helpful.

    You have to make sure that the forum you are posting in allows photos. Scroll all the way down and look at the box on the LEFT side of the screen for the IMG info... it is off here (you want to see on).

    I use photobucket and it's pretty easy just upload the photo from your computer and then copy the URL and click the insert photo button on your dialog box here (looks like an envelope with a mountain on it), ERASE what is in the box and then paste your info and then hit submit reply. You do not have to make albums, but it does make it easier to find stuff later on. :wave:

    Are you copying the URL from the thumbnails or from the full-size picture?

    Put your cursor over the photo on photobucket and a menu will appear, one of the options is to resize (you can edit as well).

    I've tried but it's not happening! When I go to resize the image says 1024, I changed it to 1054 and saved the copied and pasted but still small!

    Thanks anyway, I think I will give up before I get banned from here for being a nuisance!!! :eek:

    Lets see if I can help:

    Let's say that I want to use the picture of the princess on the recliner:

    <img src="http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w356/unkadug/Untitled-1copy.jpg">

    I hover my mouse over the picture and a pop-up appears:

    <img src="http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w356/unkadug/Untitled-2copy.jpg">

    I hover my mouse over the Direct Link box and the URL is automatically copied.

    <img src="http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w356/unkadug/Untitled-3copy.jpg">

    If this doesn't work, then the picture that you are uploading is a thumbnail and not the full sized picture. :shrug:

    I've 'hovered' the cursor over the 'direct link' and nothing happens, so if this means this is a thumbnail is there nothing I can do? Apologies for my stupidness!:hammer:
