Accidental Dead Mickey

Think back to when Epcot had the horrendous magic wand next to Spaceship Earth.
Spaceship_Earth_with_Mickey's_Wand.jpg

We all hated it...but...did anyone else get the macabre impression that Mickey was dead?

Look at it. Just LOOK at it.

Spaceship Earth fell from the sky....and landed on Mickey. He's there thrashing his arm about, waving his wand trying to cast a spell to get it off of him. Even worse is the "Leave a Legacy" graveyard is shaped in such a way that makes the area look somewhat like a giant impact crater.

Help never came. Mickey died, and the Circle of Life did it's job....and to quote Mufasa, Mickey's body "became the grass", which explains all of the greenery growing up around the arm.

Oh, then you must've heard it at Universal...

Nope. Universal doesn't really believe in death. Just look at some of their more famous attractions:
- Jurassic Park features cloned dinosaurs
- Harry Potter has died and come back after meeting Dumbledore at Heaven's Train Station.
- Jaws kept coming back after getting blown up, electrocuted, blown up again, and then spontaneously combusting after a boat hit him.
- Marvel Superhero Island...every single one of them has died and come back. Except for Uncle Ben.
- In the Transformers movies, Optimus has died and was resurrected, Megatron has died twice and is now Galvatron. But nobody cared enough to bring Jazz back. Or Arcee.

Ok, ok... I'll meet you halfway on this one... Tiger Woods.... I mean... it's just an oversized golf ball that killed a mouse.... and he DID miss the water hazard...

On 2nd look.. All they needed to do was to put the BAH nearby and that's it... They just didn't sell it enough, lol

I still do not see the problem? I love it.

I agree with @FettFan, it looks like the golf ball squished the mouse, leaving only a hand and wand.... The BAH wound up over at DHS, and if you've ever done the google earth real life hidden mickey search, there's a hidden mickey lake not too far away from the property in Florida... That must be where his head landed and it made a mickey head crater.

Use some imagination, it makes for a pretty funny idea of what it actually could be mistaken for.

That impact must've been hard as it took his other glove and for some reason his BAH Landed in front of the Great Movie Ride never to be removed again....

No coincidence there!

See, the big payoff for GMR is a Wizard of Oz....where the Witch of the East has been flattened by a large falling object.

So yeah....Spaceship Earth fell on Mickey. His hat and glove popping up at the GMR reinforces the story!
