24 hour party?

Hi I'm brand new to this forum and I came here to post a question because this is the most informed Disney forum. Does anyone know if WDW is going to do another 24 hour in May? I'm wondering if so, will it be a hard ticketed event since the 24 hour parties have done well.

I was wondering the same thing. I heard someone say that IF they are going to do it then they would announce it in late Feb or early March. BUT when I was on my Keys to the Kingdom tour, I asked our guide and she felt that it might not happen this year bc Disneyland is celebrating its 60th. Not sure how that relates to the 24hr party but she would know more than I.

I think the party not happening would have more to do with the major construction project happening in the hub than disneyland's 60th party.

If there was any...My guess is July 17th for DL's 60th it's only specific reason to have an all out 24 hour party..

I believe that they will be close to being done with the hub by the time May, June or July rolls around. And besides the hub adds more room, not takes it away. They have never had an issue with lack of space near the hub in past Parties. But here's to wishful thinking. Cheers

The park stays open from 6am to 6am the next day, that's about it. They also place webcams around and stream it on the internet. Other than that it is a normal day more or less.

February 29th 2013 was to celebrate it being a leap year.

May 23rd 2014 was to celebrate the launch of the 'Rock Your Disney Side' promotion. Universal's Diagon Alley expansion did not open until July 8th and I'm not seeing any announcement made at that time.

The next likely 24 hour event would be on May 22nd 2015 to celebrate the launch of Disneyland's 60th Anniversary or on July 17th to celebrate the actual opening of Disneyland and thus 60 years of Disney Parks.

they have had the last on the weekend of memorial day. If WDW doesn't announce it soon my guess there wont be one. I haven't seen many rumors floating around to this either.

That was my guess to, that May 22nd would be the likely day if it happens this year. I plan to be in the park that day and I made my dining reservations to fit the 24 hour plan.
