If Bob is a course, count me in.

I would LOVE to have dinner with Iger and a handful of Disney executives from the studio and the parks and discuss the future of Disney's theme park business. Man, that would be an incredible experience. They would never let me do it though because I couldn't resist coming back here and retelling every detail of what was said.

Come on, gather 11 of your closest Disney pals and it's only $1,250 each before tax and grat! What a steal!

Wait, what do you mean I can't take my plate, cutlery, the table cloth, and the table home? I want a refund! :arghh:

I'm curious, does 21 Royal occupy the entire Disney Gallery space or is it just the private dining room, which has always been off limits? Looking at the photos it appears that a portion of the venue is at the top of the old Disney Gallery staircase. How does the Dream Suite fit into this? I'm trying to figure out what the layout is. Help me understand.

It takes up previously unused space between the Dream Suite, which as I understand it is not impacted, and Club 33.

So what's the footprint of the Dream Suite? Dusting off the cobwebs in my mind I recall that the Disney Gallery consisted of 4 spaces: 3 rooms and a patio. Which of those belong to Dream Suite and which are 21 Royal?

From what I understand (and this is secondhand info) the 21 Royal space is not part of the Dream Suite, but adjacent to it, in what was up until this time unused space between the suite and Club 33. I don't believe any of the Dream Suite was taken over for 21 Royal, as it is still periodically used for VIPs. AFAIK the Dream Suite took up the whole Gallery footprint, but I haven't ever seen plans/blueprints, so I can't say for sure. Perhaps someone else knows the building better than I and can elaborate.

  • an evening in the restaurant, which was Walt and Lillian Disney's personal two-bedroom apartment

  • Seven course "epicurean theater" fine dining experience, including luxuries like caviar and champagne

If the balcony viewing is included in the 21 Royal experience, then doesn't that mean that it has to involve some access to the Dream Suite? Is there an alternative access to that balcony? I'm not sure, since I haven't yet enjoyed the privilege of pouring my drinks on the peasant hoards below from such an exalted position.

Hey! There's another up-charge opportunity!

I wonld think so. Note that the second to last photo in the post before yours shows the patio that connected the three rooms of The Disney Gallery.

I'm just another commoner as well, but I have visited the Dream Suite. The only way you can get to the balcony is through the Dream Suite.

Sounds very corporate to me. I doubt that there are many individual Disneyland fans who are going to be able to support this place at $1,250 per person.

I wonder if the establishment will enforce a dress code. I can't see paying that price for white glove service while sitting at a table in shorts and a tank top wearing Mickey ears.
Ya think? I can guarantee you that there are some bonkers Disneyland fans that will mortgage their future for the experience.

Come on guys! Let's 12 of us pool our money and do this! Let's pay $15,000 to dine on nasty looking food and inevitably stain those fine looking plush velvet, blue dining chairs when we accidentally drip our food on it.That balcony sure does look inviting!

Why stop there? Let's book out the entire floor, including Club 33 and the Dream Suite, and have a rowdy all-nighter. This would top the seizure of Tom Sawyer Island by protestors in the 70s. Disneyland would never be the same.
