21 day ticket question

Been to disney so many time yet this will be the first time our family will be there for 3 weeks over christmas period december and january.

if i buy the 21 day unlimited ticket (2016 price) as long as its activated in december will it still work in january as i notice they do 2 tickets 2016 or 2017.

As long as it is activated in the calendar year that it is bought then the rest can be carried over.
That was the case when we had 14 day tickets in 2008/09

thank you all, not sure what i would do if disney removed the 7/14/21 day tickets. time to start planning a fun filled trip.
