I was thinking today about how I'd like to have a ride poster for all of my favorite rides, but they don't make them for all of my favorite rides. THEN, I was thinking some more...........(Uh oh!)

It hit me, since I can't buy my own, why not create and print my own damn posters! It would cost a bit to go have it printed, but all it would take is the design! Weeeeeee! I'm gonna make some ride posters!

Any requests on the first ride? Hmmmmmmmmm?

Oh, what a sweet thing to say.......:cry:

I'll be doing a bunch more. Thanks to a few people on this site, I now have a pretty big collection of walt pics.;) I can't wait to do some more.

I'll post the original saved pic below. As you can see, I had to get rid of Gov. Hayden Burns. That jerk doesn't belong up there anyway!:lol:

BTW, still wanting suggestions for my first ride poster creation!:)

Those are 2 of my favorite rides as well, however Disney has already made those rides. I want to "add" to Disney's collection, so to speak, using the same style and such. Ya know, do some of the posters for the rides they never did them for. Like Horizons, or WOM, or RnR Coaster, etc.:D

Main Street, you have to be the most ingenious on the board! Your pictures are always great. For Ride posters how about TTA, World Showcase or maybe Dinosaur? The parades are pretty cool ideas as well.

TTA would be great! Since its a track like thing you could use perspective and make it look longer then it really is. or make it look like its looping around SM or somthing. I would enjoy seeing TTA also!

TTA would be awesome! Main Street Electrical Parade would be extremely hard. Sticking with the Disney style of the posters, they really need to be "drawn" instead of just using pictures. I can't imagine having to create all of those freaking lights! I'll add it to the list, though. So lets see, so far on the list I have:

Rock -n- Roller Coaster
Tomorrowland Transit Authority (or peoplemover)?
Space Mountain
Main Street Electrical Parade
Dinosaur

and, um, Malestrom (no).

Well, they MIGHT come out with the rest over time. They haven't come out with ANY in the past 6 or 7 years. The last one was Tomorrowland. Most of the others were done for when the park opened. Plus, I'm sure they won't ever do any of the rides that don't exist anymore, and there are a couple of those I'd sure like to have.

Anyway, I've begun my first one tonight.

Rock -n- Roller Coaster

The poster will measure 2 feet by 3 feet (Disney's are 3' by 4', but they sell them as 2' by 3', so I'm gonna stick with the smaller size)

It will be completely "drawn" in Photoshop, so it will appear similar in style (cartoonish) to the original posters. I'll be using a few pics not only as references, but also as guides in a few spots.

I'll post something soon whether I'm done or not, just to give a hint.:D
